Job Description


 The Project Finance Controller will be responsible for support control and monitor the project financials, budget Vs cost, project expenditures. Also, the ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data. The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.  

This position is both creative and rigorous by nature you need to think outside the box. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a "get it done" spirit. To be successful, you will have solid solving problem skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate with the Budget / Cost Control Head in preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and documented
  • Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
  • Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
  • Analyse and review daily, weekly and monthly reports and/or other financial reports and documents and provide analysis of the data.
  • Perform a variety of administrative and analytical duties supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the task order.
  • Review and enter all incoming data and related invoices and updating in house databases.
  • Ensure that all project related invoices are being assigned and processed by client’s internal teams generating financial data report in Excel / Tableau/ PMCS Tool and conduct a month-to-month cost analysis to achieve cost saving.

Must Have

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics.
  • Overall at least 2-5 years experience working in the construction industry handling overall project financials, budgeting and cost control.
  • Proficiency with current financial software (ERP system)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
