Job Summary:

The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required for company projects. The role involves developing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with the company’s procurement policies and industry regulations. The Procurement Manager will work closely with other departments to align procurement activities with project timelines and company objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


Procurement Strategy:

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to support project requirements and company goals.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement activities.
  • Ensure that procurement policies and procedures are followed across all projects.

Vendor Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery reliability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chain operations.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.

Procurement Operations:

  • Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with project needs and budgets.
  • Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.

Budget and Cost Control:

  • Manage procurement budgets and ensure that all purchases are within approved financial limits.
  • Track and report on procurement expenditures and identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Work with the finance department to ensure accurate cost allocation and payment processes.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards in all procurement activities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement, including supply chain disruptions and vendor performance issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with project timelines and specifications.
  • Communicate procurement plans, strategies, and updates to senior management and relevant departments.
  • Address and resolve any procurement-related issues that arise during project execution.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
  • Allocate tasks and responsibilities within the team to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.



Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the construction or electromechanical contracting industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team.

Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for various positions within our organization. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to recruitment, ensuring we build a robust talent pipeline that aligns with our company's growth and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Sourcing and Attraction:
    • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in the construction MEP industry.
    • Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and industry associations to identify potential candidates.
    • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
  2. Recruitment Process Management:
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop job descriptions and specifications.
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the selection process.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback and communication throughout the recruitment process.
  3. Candidate Assessment and Selection:
    • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including phone screens, behavioral interviews, and technical evaluations.
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
    • Provide recommendations on candidate selection and participate in decision-making processes.
  4. Employer Branding:
    • Enhance our employer brand by promoting UNECO as an employer of choice in the construction MEP industry.
    • Develop and implement employer branding initiatives, including attending career fairs, hosting recruitment events, and creating engaging content for social media.
  5. Data Management and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Prepare and present regular recruitment reports and metrics to HR leadership and hiring managers.
    • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, preferably in the construction or MEP industry.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employer branding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong experience with LinkedIn recruitment system. and other HR software.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of construction MEP industry trends and talent market.
  • Professional certifications in HR or Talent Acquisition (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Experience with advanced sourcing techniques and recruitment marketing.
